Fall 2012 (undergraduate coursework) - This project focused on adapting 16,000 square feet of a historic building in Syracuse, NY and repurposing it as a community performing arts space. Extensive research on user needs, historic precedents, programming, and space planning were emphasized. Throughout the design process various framing devices and design strategies were employed to create the experience of views and being on display.
