Special Populations Design
Spring 2012 (undergraduate coursework) - This special population design-build project looked at the functional needs of elderly people with an essential tremor. The table top lift minimizes food spills and provides a higher surface for resting the arms and upper body while seated at the table. Emphasis was placed on user demographic research, creation of construction drawings, and woodworking to create a full scale piece.
