Beat Up Character Design - This was a random design produced at work. Practicing with the cartoon style character designs, adding additional detail. Which I don't usually do with these designs.
Nicki Minaj Sketch Pt. 1 - This is a sketch of Nicki Minaj, which I draw from a photography I found on the internet. I found that am improving with my sketches, getting more of a likeness when i showed friends. And Improving with my outlines to make the image stand out more. Where I use to do light lines, that you only notice before was the eyes.
Nicki Minaj Coloured Version Pt. 2 - I scanned the sketch into illustrator where I used the pen tool to trace the image manually and started filling with vector colours. Then I created the background and foreground using the glare and rose symbols. Creating finally the typography, I choose to use “Scriptona” regular, which has become my favourite for female portraits.
Missie Jay's Birthday Cake Design Pt.1 - This is a design that I created for my sister’s best friends birthday cake. Where I used live trace for the first time, even though I still prefer the pen tool where I have more control over my image. I decided to use to only 4 colours, so it would be easier to transfer to the birthday cake. I had to take the image over to photoshop to make adjustments to the colours. Which gave me an idea to experiment with for my future designs.
Missie Jay's Birthday Cake Design Pt.2 - This the final product, the cake turned out good besides, the caterer slicing of some of the image.

Young Jeezy "Its A Recession" Poster Design - This is a poster design of Young Jeezy which was produced during the time when the recession started. Based on his album out at that time, I experimented with using illustrator and photoshop. To created more of realistic tones, where I applied the grain affect instead of the bright cartoon look.
2pac Sketch Pt. 1 - This is a sketch of Tupac Shakur.
2pac "Keep Your Head Up" Poster Design - Here is a 2pac poster design using one of his famous quotes. Using the same style as the Young Jeezy poster, with these sets of poster. Is where I was experimenting phase working type, backgrounds and illustrations.
