An architectural rendering I created in Photshop, inspired from a photo taken of the building. that was recreated from a photo of an industrial building on St. Charles Main Street, It was created for a multi-family development plan to be pitched to the city, to convert an empty industrial building in the industrial sector of the area to residential loft apartments.
I created this never having created a 3D architectural rendering before, and used Photoshop because I wasn't familiar with the standard rendering software that our architectural firm would normally use to create these. I had to recreate everything from scratch, create perspective lines, add textures including the road, brick, etc. A giant tree in front of center building was edited out along with some other items in original photo. Windows were cleaned up, garage style door added in front, sideewalks and streets cleaned up and modifed, and landscaping added. Last, people, cars, shadows were added for final effect.

This is the original pic I was asked to create the rendering from. The pic is pulled from Google Maps, so was lo resolution and the angle and perspective of shot was less than ideal. I was asked to remove the large tree in front, remove pavement circle, clean up the building including the brick and dilapidated side windows so they looked more like front windows, remove the crosswalk, add tress and landscapting, add garage style door at entrance, and overall, just make it look nice. The entire resulting architectural rendering was re-created in Photoshop using this photo as the starting point.
HLC Builing Rendering: I visited site and took photos of a new building still being completed. Unfortunately I do not have the original photo., only my resulting image after editing. There was no grass, there were cones, yellow tape throughout area, and piles of dirt and gravel in various places around parking lot. I did all editing in Photoshop. I used Photoshop’s Perspective Warp to fix distortion and lens errors as it applied to the building. I added grass, edited out cones, tape, dirt piles and did some color enhancements.
