Black Mamba - About Theme
– Whenever I close my eyes, I see a young and beautiful lady standing with a weapon in her hands.
That lady is a lover, a mother, and Gods Beautiful creation in a devastating role... She took a sword in her hand to guard her loved once and her soul.
To exemplify, like the role of The Bride/Black Mamba-Uma Thurman in the movie “Kill Bill” in this movie she is pregnant (Uma Thurman) is shot by her boss, Bill (David Carradine), and her co-workers at her wedding (the wedding guests are also shot). She survives, though, waking up exceedingly angry after a four-year coma, and decides to hunt down and kill every single one of the assassins who were responsible and to get back her daughter.
My theme for this mini collection is the Women, by her beauty and love she create this world (as believed in the Hindu Mythology). She is powerful enough to destroy those who come to harm her or the loved once. It’s her shape, the eyes and the attitude she carries.
The colors and Prints in this collection comprise to represent the soft and the harsh side of a woman’s mind. ‘Print 1’ with flowers and lively colors shows her softness, ‘Print 2’ on the contrary represents her anger and power.
The shape and design detailing are inspired by the attitude she carries, of a warrior.
Inspiration
– The graphics, textures and colors have always motivated me, throughout my lifetime I have attracted by prints and the beauty of colors and love to play with shapes.
