Textile Mesh
During my degree, I was asked to provide assistance to a Fashion Design Student who needed to created a 3D printed mesh material for her honors garments. Seven individual, tooth like components were designed and printed into two sizes of textile mesh. The project required an advanced knowledge of 3D printing materials and processes as well as a good understanding of strength limitations. The resulting garments received praise from multiple fashion sources including GQ, Pages Digital and Oystermag.
