First concept, with two other versions.
Second, reworked version with a serif font.
Avenue Cafe concept

A cafe in New York state was looking to re-brand with a new logo to go with their remodel. They expressed that they were an upscale cafe and wanted their logo to reflect that. From looking at their menu and drawing from the desired concepts presented as an example, I went with a more modern art deco feel, with a splash of color and interest in the ring.
They expressed interest in the dark version of the logo, but didn't completely like the font. I tried to keep with the more angular minimalist theme with the "a"s in the name while going for a more traditional serif font.
