HONCOUNT-HONKING KILLS

The very first sound a new born hears is probably sound of a honk and last sound a
dying man hears is again probably sound of a honk.

The exercise discourages HONKING and tries to educate and persuade users to shift form honking to no honking. Majority of users honk unconsciously even when it is not needed in the impression that they are avoiding causalities.

Honking contributes to 70% of noise pollution. Noise pollution can cause hearing impairment, hypertension, heart disease, annoyance, and sleep disturbance.

80% of vehicles in India are two wheelers which means 56% of honking is done by them. This idea considers two wheelers but can be expanded to all kinds of vehicle drivers.

Manufacturer will integrate HONCOUNT in vehicle’s speedometer which will sync with mobile phone through Bluetooth.

Vehicle Owner
- Can invite friends and compete to reduce honking.
- Can earn Rewards/Coupons for not honking.
- Can see honk count and statistic of him for the day/week/month/year.
