Woodworking and finish furniture has been an interest of mine since high school shop class, which I took for 3 years. I get a lot of satisfaction from taking a piece of wood in its raw form and shaping it into a work of art. With each project I gain more insight into the processes required to make pieces of work that can be both beautiful as well as functional. Each project presents its own challenges which often require creative solutions in order to make the piece look and function its best.
