Cassette robot
I have to admit that I rally enjoy making this beam-shooting robot and I was also surprise by the unexpected success of it. The story began with a contest on Tuts+ in which they propose to create an illustration inspired by a song. I just put my headphones on, choose a song of one of my favourite band (Does it offend you, yeah?) and just draw. This is the result, I really suggest to go and listen to this band so you can understand why there is a robot that shoots red beam from the eyes!
