I started my career at the age of 14 when I was hired as an Assistant Dress Designer for Alencon Couture Bridal. I walked in after months of being pressed against their display windows and asked Nancy Taylor, the designer, for a job. I proved my highly developed sewing skills through a test and won my position as her Assistant Designer. My work consisted of hand beading and embroidered details, creating and designing the ring pillows for retail, working all aspects of the fashion shows, and helping in the design and constructions process for the couture wedding gowns and head pieces. Working under Nancy Taylor was the solidification of my dream and became my foundation for my future. From this point on I knew fashion design was what I wanted to do and have spent my life learning and perfecting all aspects of the design process. I present to you my portfolio with the note that many more collections are yet to come and I look forward to sharing my dream with you.
