Clearly Ionic Hairbrushes Influence Sheet - This influence sheet shows the key considerations and icons relevant to the development of a lifestyle range of hairbrush products. I was responsible for the layout and iconic development for this influence sheet, as well as the actual products.
Clearly Ionic Hairbrushes - This is a range of clear acrylic hairbrushes which feature ionic bristle technology. This technology prevents fly away hair when brushing. I was responsible for all sketching, 3D modeling and manufacturer correspondence under the design director.
High End Shear Packaging - This is a permanent packaging solution for high end hairstylist shears. It also has the purpose of being a display used to sell each shear. It features a universal shear mount to fit a range of shears, I was responsible for the complete 2D and 3D development of this. It is currently selling well.
Hair Curling Iron - This is an improved design of a hair curling iron. It features a soft belly rubber overmold and rubber thumb overmold for better grip and control. I was responsible for all 2D and 3D developments of this product. It is currently selling very well.
Static Free Ergonomic Combs - These combs were developed for professional hairstylists out of the need for a rounded parting tooth for styling, better ergonomics and the availability of a new strong carbon composite plastic. I was responsible for all phases of product development. They are currently selling well.
Scitec Hairbrush - This shows a computer rendering of a hairbrush designed for professional hair stylists. It was used as a sales rendering for potential buyers.The design features a user tested grip design that allows for both comfortable locking and turning styling positions used over long periods of time. I was responsible for the complete 2D and 3D design and development of this. It is on the market and selling well.
Ceramic Hairbrush - This hairbrush was developed for professional hairstylists out of the need for a snag-free seamless barrel fit for less hair tangling. I was involved in the concept development, technical drawing and correspondence under the industrial design director.
Shear Vase - This shear packaging display was used to enhance the perceived value of a pair of hair stylist shears with the display having an after market use of a vase. It was very successful. I was responsible for all 2D and 3D developments of this packaging under the design director.
