This image was created for an art show and the subject matter had to be about Florida. A Butterfly's wings are unique so incorporated other images into them.
An organic shape that I kept repeating and later when I went to fill in all the shapes I decided to only fill in the negative space creating a more interesting pattern.
This image started out as shapes and grew, all I kept thinking about was how water drips and slides down an object.
