My creative background consists of an art education at the Maryland Institute College of Art where I earned a BFA in Graphic Design, a Minor in Art History, and a Concentration in Curatorial Practices.

I am a true believer that in order to be a great artist, one must be a diverse artist. While my primary focus concentrates on graphic systems (branding & visual identities), I am also experienced in hand lettering, fashion graphics, product design, publication design, package design, exhibition design as well as an introductory understanding of web and interactive design. I can write HTML as well as CSS. I have a strong background in observational drawing having won awards as a Marie Walsh Sharpe scholar (awarded to 2% of applicants). I am skilled in multiple printing processes such as digital fabrication, letterpress, screen-printing, linocut, etching, and monotype. As my resume shows, I consider myself very fluent with Adobe Illustrator, and skilled with Photoshop, InDesign and DreamWeaver. I have experience with Adobe After Effects and Flash, writing action script and developing motion graphics.

Senior year, I was awarded "Best in Show" for my Thesis project "Mobi"– is a series of modular furniture designed to assist in the user’s relationship with nature.

  Abercrombie and Fitch (A&F) is an American retail store dedicated to the production of high-end casual wear. I am an Assistant designer for Gilly Hicks Graphic Tees. My job is to create brand specific on-apparel artwork. I work side by side with the Research and Development teams in order to create seasonal concepts for a wide range of apparel categories.

  As a graphic designer for Poketo, I collaborated with American retail chain Target, designing a series of playful patterns for their latest collection of journals, planners, and calendars. The new assortment of stationary launched nation wide July 2013. The collection was made available in a multitude of binding options, colors, and materials. Available for a limited time only, the series sold out completely with in its first two months of retail.

  Project M Blitz is an intensive, alternative spring break trip in which students collaborate with renown designer John Bielenberg on a project that utilizes design thinking as a force for positive change. As a group, we identified ways for the city of Belfast to improve the sense of community. The results included an identity system, zine, tshirts, buttons, and two separate exhibitions.
