Screen-printed poster illustrating the 1956 French film "Le Ballon Rouge", a movie depicting a young boy who becomes friends with a seemingly sentient red balloon. As the boy and the balloon begin to bond, the harsh world around them tries to break apart their newly discovered friendship. The poster depicts the final scene when the young boy is lifted up into the sky. He is rescued by the sacrifices of the red balloon as every balloon in Paris has been called forth to save the young boy.
