Yowza Captiva VME - This is a very interesting product we recently completed. It is a VME (Variable Motion Elliptical) with a converging axis hand movement. I built the Solidworks files for this product and John Payne at Reflex completed the rendering in PV360.

Reebok Treadmill Line
Reebok Concept that did not make it.
Smoth Agile Trainer - Agile Trainer with adj. motion. This is a product image, but it was 100% constructed in SW.
Custom Designed TFT Screen and speakers. - This screen was for a line of fitness products (treadmills and bike). First shown in early 2006. This was modeled in Solidworks.
Custom Designed TFT screen and speakers. - The bolt holes are a little out of control, but I really like the venting and tubular brackets. The way the speakers nest into the back of the screen is interesting. Again, modeled in Solidworks. Oh, and the zip tie says...first off product at a show!
Low end elliptical product.
Low end elliptical product. - The crank cover on this product came out interesting!
T7 Folding TR - First off prototype at the ISPO show last year.

Freshsaver - Worked on this project for JCS. Reflex worked on the design with Jarden and another designer (only hand unit). In addition, Reflex did all the Solidworks for this unit and tray.

DJ from reflex also worked on this unit with me.

Oster Mini Steamer - This is a very cool little product. It is a smaller brother to a larger steamer product. Worked on this project with John Payne at Reflex for Jarden Consumer Products. I completed the concept work for this project and some of the CAD work (Solidworks). John completed a larger portion of the modeling.

Margaritaville Shot Chiller - Get you supper chilled party on!
Margaritaville Shot Chiller - The coolest part of this product is the blue light that lets you know your pour is finished (and the lighted target to place your glass). Too bad these images do not show that part of it.
Foodsaver Vertical Vac - New food storage product for Foodsaver. Intuitive users handle for door operation. I worked on the concept development and project management for this product. In addition, I worked on about 25% of the CAD work (in SW). This projected moved around the Reflex office a little once it went into SW. John Payne did a good 50% and DJ at Reflex completed the remaining 25%.
Foodsaver - Little brother to the black unit. Again, I did all the concept work for this project. Also completed about 25% of the SW. John Payne at Reflex did a good 50% of the SW and DJ did the other 25%.
Foodsaver Vertical Vac - Same details as the black unit, different color.
iseries low end bike - Fun with my GoPro Camera at the Ispo Show.
Reebok Treadmil - More fun with my new GoPro camera. This is an older deck product with a newer console. Still like the white flare details on this product.
Rival food storage - Entry level product for the Rival brand. The interesting thing about this product was that I started working with raw internal components for optimal layout. The goal was to reduce air hose and wire usage. Anything to save material cost and product footprint. In addition, we had to position the sealing parts as close to the counter as possible.

Fun process of layout and experimentation. Then, the simple, clean exterior was designed.
Red Core R2 Heater - Small room heater for Red Core. I completed the design and some solidworks. Dj worked on CAD as well. Project/client management was also on my plate for this.
Red Core R4 Heater - Room heater for RedCore. I completed the design and some solidworks. Dj worked on CAD as well. Project/client management was also on my plate for this.
A very cool ground up project with JCS to design a Series of Console humidifiers. Easy access to internal wick and the two water tanks. Interesting point is that one water tank can be removed and filled while the other is left in place. A fun project that I was able to work on with our client on all levels. Initial innovation, concept work, CAD work and detail modification. While DJ was still at Reflex he also performed CAD support on this project with me.
Easy access to internal water wick for the console humidifier.
A holmes version of the product line.
High end humidifier designed with our customer JCS. A fun ground up project that I managed (and offered design support and CAD). Anderson Martinez worked on this as well while he was at Reflex.
Filtered pet water fountain project for Jarden CS.
Double wall blender jar and Lid. This is a project that I managed and Anderson completed the CAD for while he was at Reflex.
Margaritaville® No-Brainer Mixer for Jarden CS. Fun project to work on with the team. Lots of engineering work as well. Ultimately, I did the Solidworks on this project as well. When DJ was at Reflex, he also did some initial CAD work on this project.

  • although a bit Testarrosa - very aviation influenced intake - makes it move - is it a difficult mold?

  • Glenn, Thanks for the comment. I should post a full view of this product, it pulls together nice. From a molding perspective, it is a little deep on the draw. The part was designed for the main pull action and the surfaces follow suit. It has been in production for several years now.

  • Great work Jeff. Nice detail. All it needs is a fan to cool you off when your sweating!

  • I dig the iPod integration. This is way overdue. Have you guys thought about integrating Nike+ support? Maybe a call to Nike would be recommended? Just an idea. I run and avoid treadmills, but I know many use them.

  • straight up product design - there is a lot of thought for manufacture in this design.

  • thanks Glenn. If you can not build it, it us only a pretty picture. You should see this one fold....and unfold.
