Aldwych Station

For this brief we were to explore a space, big or small, and allow people to view it in a way which was not immediately obvious, we were to tell a story, be it historical, fantasy or otherwise.

The space which I chose was Aldwych station - the most used disused station on the underground network. Appearing in games, TV, films and frequently being open for tours and exhibitions.

The way I chose to execute this spatial design brief was mainly through a series of giant wall murals, which people could walk along and discover a story, with each mural telling a different part of the overall story of Aldwych station.

A key focal point of this brief was the design of pictograms.
