Exhibit designs (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria / Guía de Isora, Spain)_2017

As a part of the Master on Heritage Management I fulfilled this year, exhibit design was a cornerstone of our plan of studies. Among other projects, we worked in groups to create whole exhibitions, and in both these cases I was entrusted with the visual and interior design, as well as itineraries, budgets or time schedules: the first is part of an exhibition to be located in Las Palmas de GC, concerning back-and-forth migratory movements between Latin America and the Canary Islands and how contemporary art expresses this situation; the second would be a small history museum for the town of Guía de Isora, from its aborigine roots to the Castilian Conquest, as well as the town's developement as an agricultural and livestock center since the Modern Age, featuring ancient objects as well as replicas. What you can seen here is an example of some of the spaces and displayers I proposed; both exhibitions were to be located in historical buildings, so making them reversible was a condition.
