Talent Manager (full cycle recruiter)
52 Limited
Mar 2011 - Jun 2013 (2 years 3 months)
When I started at 52 as a Talent Coordinator, I used my administrative skills and knack for integrating digital tools into workflows to help whip internal staffing processes into shape. I evaluated incoming portfolios and brought top talent to the attention of the Talent Managers. For stretches of time, I managed all social media efforts and coordinated with an SEO specialist and web developers to enhance 52’s social digital presence. As Talent Manager, I got out from behind my computer to interview candidates, attend portfolio critiques, and design community events. I met with clients to get to know their needs, and connected them with great candidates for contract and permanent roles. Competitive vendor managed staffing programs for Nike, eBay, and Intel were also my responsibility as the internal 52 team grew and shifted. My personal interest in interactive design and development propelled 52 Limited’s engagement with the developer community in Portland. I thrived in this small-team environment that demanded attention to detail, flexibility, intuition, and compassionate communication at a non-stop pace.
