Telepathic PDA - criteria of design: hand held device with user interface/ instructed not to worry about existing technology. The Telepathic PDA was developed for the working class, people who do not have time to keep a daily schedule. I thought that if people could be reminded of the schedules without having to think about it, they could spend more time on the important things in life. The PDA has the ability to record audio messages that would be transmitted to a receiver, located in the user ear, at a later date requested by that person. Thus allowing the user to have a stress free day.
car interior - A collaborative design between two classmates and I. The criteria of this design was to redesign an existing product. As a group we decided to redesign a interior for a small car. The objective was to create an interior that would maximize space for the individuals. Upon brainstorming and sketching we concluded that a thin dash board would allow for more leg room. We also decided to combin the stirring, accelerator, and decelerator into one mechanism located on the center consol. This would allow both passengers the opportunity to drive. The console was also designed to maximize space. The dash is nothing more than a series of screens that project digital analogue gauges for whom ever is driving at the time. The center screen has capabilities such as: GPS, autopilot, satelite radio, wireless internet, DVD, and mechanical diagnostics.
