Cody Kocan

Cody is a traditionally trained industrial designer with a background in home construction, fine art, and project management. He has held design positions with ImagiCorps, Koryn Rolstad Studios, and Trade-Marx Sign and Display. While working with Orca Creative Group, Cody designed and oversaw construction of exhibits for companies such as Acer, Boeing, Starbucks, Heineken, and many others.



The tradeshow industry has continued to motivate Cody, for its ever changing environment presents a new challenge every day. He is always searching for new materials and technology to guide the user through the experience, whether it’s a tradeshow booth, permanent installation, or interior design.



“The design of understanding” is the best way to describe Cody’s philosophy. As a designer at Orca, he focuses on creating meaningful connections between people, ideas, art, and technology in all of his projects.



Cody holds a degree from the Art Institute of Seattle in Industrial Design and Technology.
