Claire Smalley

Claire Smalley holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Maryland Institute College of Art where she studied graphic design and creative writing. In 2012, she received a Master of Arts in Publishing from London College of Communication. With a background in publication design and bookbinding, Claire appreciates the demands of design and storytelling — a simultaneous awareness of what is on and below the surface.

Claire’s portfolio has expanded over the years to include identity design, front-end web design, UI/UX and information design. In every medium, her work is concept-driven with an emphasis on strong typography.

In addition to art and design, Claire loves music, gardening and trying new restaurants.
