Vapour

Vapour was the product of a short project submitted to the 'lotus prize' competition, a small group of colleagues and I teamed together to create a concept suitable for use in disaster zones.

The product is to be freely distributed in disaster areas where the quality of food and water has been compromised. The product makes use of multiple filtration methods from, centrifugal for large particulates to pressurised steam which will kill bacteria.

The product not only cleans and purifies water but uses the steam generated to cook food simultaneously. The product then serves as both a vessel for drinking from and a separate chamber from which the user may consume food.
