Job Description

Art Director will oversee the graphic design department, work closely with our graphic designers, marketing, and ecom team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Create compelling assets that are both on-brand and meet marketing objectives
Develop marketing materials for seasonal product launches and campaigns
Further develop and maintain the brand aesthetic across multiple channels
Design homepage/website updates, social media assets and weekly emails
Create banners and display ads in support of our marketing initiatives
Participate in the creative brainstorming process with the team
Prepare files for print & web production
Ability to think creatively within our brand voice
Seasonally organize and prepare files for collection launches
Collaborate with copywriter on seasonal product knowledge materials
Organize, track and prepare samples for all seasonal photoshoots

Qualifications and Skills


Excellent understanding of graphic design, layout and typography
Detail oriented and knowledgable of best practices for file creation
Expert in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
Image retouching abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to integrate feedback in order to meet internal client objectives
Reliably meet deadlines and work quickly
Own projects and see them through from beginning to end
Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment
Professional Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
2-3 years of post-grad design experience
Expert in the Adobe Creative Suite
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
Familiarity with print production and web best practices
Knowledge in photography and ability to shoot and create content for social media is a plus

Possess good verbal and written communication skills
Passionate and excited about design
Capable of working within a fast paced work environment
Self Starter who is able to take initiative, be productive and efficient
Strong attention to detail and consistency
