Job Description

Job Purpose:
SRAM is seeking a creative and motivated Industrial Designer to join our Mountain Bike (MTB) Suspension and Brakes team.
This role will help define the next generation of RockShox products and SRAM brakes. Join our team on the cutting edge of mountain bike component development.

•Provide Industrial Design problem-solving, concepts, and CAD models
•Create compelling concepts by tapping into the end user’s needs
•Hands on 3D sketching and modeling to achieve optimum design solutions
•Work with a cross-functional product development team
•Work directly with Design Engineers on CAD models to configure/package engineering concepts into the most compelling products in the industry
•Leverage a strong understanding of design for manufacturing
•Deliver solid and rational ergonomics for best physical performance
•Support Marketing, product launches and presentations with applicable materials

Education/Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design
•1 year experience; the ideal candidate will have relevant experience working in an ID consulting firm and/or product development company
•Proficient at 3D CAD, sketching, model making and the Adobe Creative Suite
•Ability to travel domestically and internationally to work with a global team (approximately 15% travel)
