Requirements
The Role
As Creative Director, you are responsible for the overall vision, strategy and look and feel for all creative executions across QuintEvents’ global brands and companies. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other departmental managers to establish brand strategies and marketing objectives. We are looking for a seasoned Creative Director ready to lead next evolution of the QuintEvents brand. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will do this by:
-Create and implement company and partnership brand strategies and standards
-Lead a group of talented in-house creative team
-Collaborate with marketing leaders and other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives
-Develop & Execute creative strategies supporting the company’s growth initiatives
Responsibilities
-Challenge and extend capabilities of growing in-house creative team.
-Partners with marketing, sales and operations leaders to align on brand strategy, brand guidelines and to develop robust solutions to creative briefs that support product launches, key sales activities and advertising vehicles.
-Partners with internal website UX team on brand strategy, design and implementation.
-Partners with content and strategy team on creative project workflow and looks for continuous improvement in efficiency.
-Partners with digital/social team to build and maintain a constant flow of creative to support content calendars.
-Develops PDP strategy for both company(ies) and brand websites.
-Builds out brand toolkits including functional brochures, banner ads, social posts, sales materials and product videos.
-Leads team members through creative development for all marketing initiatives, while working hands-on in the development of materials.
-Establish and maintain a clear process to help the team manage and execute on a wide range of projects simultaneously from concept through development including design, branding and product launches.
-Leads conceptualization and design of digital-native creative materials and manages team through projects from concepts to completion.
-Builds and extends team capabilities from print to digital.
-Leads creative video development and editing projects, working with internal and external partners on production and concept.
-Leads art direction and production of photography and video.
-Leads development of brand guideline development and works to ensure all materials published fit brand tone, messaging and look/feel.
-Presents creative concepts and projects internally/externally as assigned.
-Leads analytical review of design performance and determination of strategies for improvement
-Consults with coworkers to determine functional and spatial hospitality requirements and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, and equipment.
-Works with cross-functional leaders to develop showroom and client experiences for our brands.
Requirements
-6-8+ years related experience in overseeing creative team, global company brand management and company creative direction
-Bachelor’s degree. MBA a plus.
-Strong experience leading in-house creative teams in fast-paced environment
-Experience in hospitality products or experiential marketing
-Brand and design experience in International markets preferred
-Strong art direction experience and understanding of current trends spanning print, digital, imagery, experiential and video.
-Strong leadership skills and ability to drive creative thinking through entire in-house team
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
-Experience working and negotiating with third party vendors
-Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and AfterEffects
-Previous experience in spatial design strongly preferred
-Proficiency in 3D design software (3d Studio Max, SketchUp, Maya, Etc.) preferred
-Experience in Microsoft Office suite
-Basic video editing experience preferred
-Excellent planning and organizational skills
