About Schneider Electric design

We’ve chosen, among many, this definition by Herbert Simon, which best aligns with or vision:
“Design must change existing situations and transform them into preferable situations.”
At Schneider electric design’s mission is to make products, tools or interfaces that, when used, are guaranteed to achieve the purpose they’re supposed to fulfill.
Every brand has its own identity. An identity that carries a company’s value, history, ambition; that conveys a company’s DNA. The main objective of design is to make this DNA tangible, translate these values into products and objects, thereby giving birth to the imagery world and vision around a company’s DNA.
The 6 design labs around the world will contribute to build a dedicated, precise and specific brand design that is the reflection of Schneider Electric’s identity.
Through this discipline we strive to create preferable experiences for our customers while expressing the unique brand values and character of Schneider Electric. Consequently, our engagement in over 200 projects across all business units has resulted in a significant evolution of the Schneider Electric brand and product portfolio.
