Job Summary

The Sr. Digital UX Designer is an integral part of the Digital team with the mission to transform and improve the digital ecosystem within Healthcare. He/She is someone with a passion for simplifying complex problems and driving projects toward clarity. The ideal candidate is a brilliant problem solver, quick study, self-starter, and excellent communicator. In this role, you will be asked to own big design problems within Healthcare, work extremely collaboratively and cross-functionally, and deliver highquality designs, including wireframes, user flows, and detailed specs for engineering.

The position collaborates closely with other designers, engineers, product managers, clinicians, and data scientists to define problems and goals. Communicate design concept ideas through keynotes, wireframes, and user flows. Iterates and critiques their own work and the work of others on the team to create the best design solution for a given problem. Thinks through edge cases and delivers detailed UX specs to engineering for implementation. Work within a schedule to deliver high-quality work on time.

Essential Functions:
-Create designs focused on unified UI and UX design for web and iOS, including responsive design.
-Have extensive experience in using Sketch, Photoshop, Keynote, and other design tools.
-Apply extensive experience with consumer-facing digital products and digital platform design; from large-scale workflow solutions to bespoke, niche design to propose and create.
-Collaborate with engineers, designers, clinicians, product owners, project managers to define & solve problems.
-Deliver detailed UX specs to engineering for implementation.
-Leverage experience to create sketches, wireframes, high fidelity comps, prototypes, and written documentation, using modern design and prototyping tools.
-Will use and possess a broad range of UX skills, including interaction design, visual design, branding, UX research, and more.
-Self-motivated and able to efficiently run with a project without close supervision.
-Work enthusiastically in an iterative design process, inspired by group critique.
-Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
-Prototype and/or animate experiences (a plus).
-Perform other User experience/Designer duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications 

Education, Training and Experience:

-Provide a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates UX/UI experience.
-Experience with health apps/programs/data.
-Bachelors’ Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Communication Design, Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar preferred.
-Seven plus years’ experience crafting extraordinary user interface designs for iOS, desktop or web platforms.

Skills or Other Qualifications:

-Proficient in Sketch, Photoshop, Keynote, and other design tools.
-A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates UX design skills and knowledge.
-Work enthusiastically in an iterative design process, inspired by group critique.
-Excellent presentation and communication skills.
