C&G Partners has an immediate opening for a visual designer for branding, print, web, motion and interdisciplinary projects with at least two years of experience in the field.
We are an established New York City multi-specialty design studio seeking a designer with keen interest in graphic design, typography, user interaction, and other disciplines. Projects range from brand identities, print, websites, and kiosk applications for well-known museums, cultural institutions, and commercial clients. Knowledge and passion for motion design and exhibition design will expose the candidate to additional cross-disciplinary projects where interactive plays a role in larger projects.
We are looking for designers who are eager to work on multiple projects playing different roles and always looking to research, experiment and learn something new. The successful candidate will help conceptualize and visualize interactive experiences in collaboration with UX designers and developers while also coordinating with exhibition and branding designers. Understanding of UX principles and interactive development processes is essential, along with the ability to follow a project through development with in-house and external teams. Verbal and written communication skills are key to successfully collaborate with our teams and communicate with clients.
Deep knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Basic knowledge of Sketch, Invision
Knowledge of HTML code and After Effects are a plus
Experience with G-suite Applications
