Job Description
Tandem currently have openings for industrial design interns to join our design team in Los Angeles working on an exciting range of smart devices and consumer electronics.
We are looking for someone with passion for design with strong 3D focus, strong problem solving skills and a team player. Background or major in mechanical engineering is also very welcome.
Ideal candidate should be majored in ID, senior year student or recent graduate, with strong form development, superb 3D modeling skills. Support all areas of design with specific tasks including: product research, ideation/sketching, brainstorming, placement study, 3D rendering, presentation preparation, User Interface Design Support, product graphics support, graphics design
Main Functions:
Supporting the general needs of the design team, be the creative addition to the Tandem design team, developing and seeing through design from concept to final deliverable, working with ID staff on projects and seeking out feedback whenever possible
This position offers the potential to transition into a Full-time Designer role.
