The Motion Design Director will explore and conceptualize design options and solutions that maintain Landor’s vision and creative beliefs– ‘great ideas expertly and beautifully crafted and delivered with rigor and flair’. You will be a part of our leadership team of Directors and fellow Designers, evaluate design options, develop and push to find ‘big ideas’ based on design strategy and the creative brief. You will create high-impact presentations with compelling visual and verbal storytelling. You will develop straightforward design approaches to complex design challenges across brand development, corporate identity, mobile, digital and user experience design projects. You will create a conceptual designs, developing storyboards collaborating with a team and executing high-quality motion graphics and animations.
What we’re looking for…
A Motion Design Director, who over the last 10 years, has flawlessly designed agile brands, has 8 years of broad creative and management experience (required) with a global sophistication and the ability to adapt to different cultures. You are a strategic thinker, understand branding and love it when you really understand a client’s business and arrive at insights that solve their challenges via their brand. You perform well in a team environment and foster communication and cohesion between internal teams and functions. You have a love of design: must have passion for creative excellence, branding, and visual communication. Excellent and current creative and design trend knowledge and skills (from branding identity, digital, to time-based media). You’re strong in conceptual thinking and design development, have communication skills and working knowledge of graphic design, digital media and motion design. You work well within large teams and independently and participate and contribute in design critiques. Must be an excellent communicator. Must have outstanding technical skills with Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with new media technology/software is a plus. Must be capable of collaborating confidently with other agency and supplier team members and have a passion for cracking tough strategic and design problems. Evidence of strategic and creative solutions that supports project goals. Evidence of understanding to B2B and B2C businesses. You hold a BFA or similar is graphics or motion graphics.
