It’s pronounced BAN-DOO-HO. Now that’s out of the way, here’s a little bit about us. Officially, we’re a full-service advertising and digital agency in NYC. Unofficially, we’re a collection of passionate creators and thinkers who love to geek out over business-smart strategies and creative ideas. Every morning we check our egos at the door and work together to deliver solutions that get us—and most importantly our clients—excited. We work smart. We hustle hard. We never settle. All while keeping a work-life balance that most agencies envy.
Here’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Motion Designer to shake up our visual storytelling—aka YOU. Armed with at least five years of agency experience, you are well versed in every step of motion design, from storyboarding to send off. You make B-roll pop. You bring illustrations to life. And above all else, you love getting your hands dirty and creating work that inspires junior designers and makes your mama proud. Whether it’s a 30-second spot or a 10-second Snapchat ad, you pour your creative vision and leadership into every frame.
We encourage you to apply if:
You know your shit. Thanks but no thanks to novice skills. We’re looking for someone with advanced working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere, as well as the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite.
You dot every i and cross every t. Immaculate project organization skills? You have them. Rigorous broadcast and digital standards? You meet them. No detail, no matter how small, gets past your watchful eye when it’s time to release a project into the world.
You have your Mr. Miyagi moments. If a junior motion designer needs guidance, they know they can turn to you. As one of our lead animators and editors, you’ll mentor other creatives, working with them to produce kick-ass work.
You are more than an animator. Want an upper hand? Prove you can give a helping hand. All our current motion designers can also assist in the art direction and production of non-motion projects, like print campaigns. Can you?
You respect direction. When you get pulled on a job with an existing style, you go with the flow. You don’t inflate our Creative Director’s vision, you elevate it, adding just the right touches to get it to 100%.
You always beat deadlines. No number of projects, clients or long rendering times can stop you from staying on top of your workload. When it comes to you vs. the clock, you’re still the reigning champ.
• Experience with Cinema 4D
• Illustration skills
• Color correction skills
Interested? Dope. But a word of advice: don’t just forward us your resume. We’re visual people here, so your application must include a link to your reel. While you’re at it, why not add a cover letter, references, or anything else that will show us that you’re the right person for the job.
