Job Description

• 2+ years of professional photography experience, either working in-house or consulting for a brand
• Understanding of the nuance and controllable elements of studio photography and able to adapt on the fly to conditions, lighting, and shifting narratives of product composition
• Technical fluency with DSLR cameras and other photographic equipment, lenses, natural and artificial (on- and off-camera) lighting, and photo editing software (Adobe Bridge, Adobe Photoshop), etc.
• A keen eye for detail and composition and a well-developed creative aesthetic
• Strong understanding of file/data cataloging, including naming conventions and file storage and maintenance
• Expertise in digital photo editing with Adobe Photoshop including color editing, cropping, digital retouching and exporting files for print and digital use
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, especially under pressure
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, hit deadlines, and learn quickly in an ever-changing environment
• Willingness to learn the product line and understand end use and consumers to enhance product photography
• EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience shooting in studio product photography
• Proficiency with Adobe CC (Bridge, Photoshop, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Portfolio showcasing in studio photography and knowledge of lighting and angles
• Video experience a plus
