Standard Issue is looking for a new project manager to join our growing team!
We are a small design firm in Brooklyn working on graphic, branding, product and interior design projects. The Project Manager role will have you working closely with the partners and designers to provide clients with an outstanding experience.
You will help to prepare project budgets, create schedules, track progress, be a liaison with clients and external creative and manufacturing resources, help to manage project costs, and assist in invoicing. Note that this is not a design job, but understanding design is important.
This could be you if:
- you have a natural sense of how to lead
- you have excellent attention to detail
- you love to organize
- you multi-task
- you are self-motivated
- you can motivate others
- you get things done effortlessly
- you don’t get stressed out, despite stressful situations
- and most importantly, people love to work with you.
Experience working in the contract furniture, architecture or interior design industry is a plus, as well as experience in managing production schedules in fashion/design/manufacturing.
We're looking for someone with 3-6 years' experience preferably in creative services (a design consultancy or in-house). Excellent communication skills are a must. So too is being more than competent using Excel and various other project management tools.
