Job Description

Role Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced product designer that can untangle complex problems and deliver intuitive and human-centered products for our users and teams.

You’ll apply strategic design, interaction design, and visual design to craft experiences that support user needs and help mature our design system and processes.

You’re comfortable designing and also experienced managing stakeholders and effectively communicating the vision of a product based on human-centered design principles. Designers here are systems thinkers, storytellers, and facilitators along with having strong UX design and production skills.

Responsibilities:
Communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually through user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
Partner with researchers and product managers to understand user needs and requirements, and translate insights into design solutions
Engage with users and leverage data and evidence to make confident design decisions
Use data collected from research, user testing, and market analysis to inform human-centered designs
Work collaboratively with development and data teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately.
Exercise ethical decision-making to ensure our products and services and accessible and human-centered.
Advocate empathetically for the users to cross-functional teams.
Champion user-centric design and inclusive approaches within the larger organization
Support and mentor early-career designers on the team
Contribute and maintain patterns and documentation for our emerging Design System
Ensure our work scales and flexes across a variety of global audiences, abilities, devices, and platforms

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience
Demonstrated ability of centering the user in problem-solving and applying intuitive design patterns
Effective ability in storytelling to communicate ideas to the broader organization
Strong strategic thinking, collaboration, and communication skills
Ability to conduct user research and translate insights from customer interviews, usability tests and metrics into actionable design solutions
Willing to provide and receive constructive feedback as a part of the creative process
Ability to facilitate design workshops and collaborative sessions
