***Please note: This position will be a 6 month contract to hire.

What you’ll do:

As a Sr Product Designer you'll work closely with engineering and product management to oversee the user experience of new features from conception through launch. You will test with users and elicit feedback to ensure that we are building applications that customers really need and design experiences that delight them

What you can expect:

Contribute to product strategy and roadmaps through customer research and design explorations
Participate in design critique and actively elevate the quality of work for the whole team and yourself.
Communicate design rationale to non-designers simply and directly.
Design for responsive-web with a mobile-first approach
Partner with product and engineering teams to oversee the user experience of new features and products from conception through launch
Lead user testing efforts to assess the value, usability, and feasibility of product ideas
Iterate quickly and thoughtfully based on feedback from users, teammates, and stakeholders
Timely design, production, and delivery/completion of user experience mockups and other design artifacts.
Create wireframes, prototypes and visual designs that are both usable and delightful that enable users to efficiently accomplish their jobs-to-be-done
Contribute to achieving key product milestones by creating the designs that drive customer growth, NPS score, conversions, and much more
Establish metrics and analytics to track and measure the impact of design
Additional Duties:

Contribute to the use and maintenance of our style guide, customer journeys and personas
Ensure usage of consistent branding, language, and design across products.
Stay current on knowledge and skills necessary for in the area of product design best practices and, platform capabilities
Conduct interviews with candidates to make sure they have the product design skills to complete the job
Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring to the table:

Strong knowledge and ability to work across all phases of the digital product design process; including user research, ux writing, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
A strong portfolio of digital product design including designs that are being used in the real world.
Ability to analyze data from user research and synthesize those insights to inform product decisions
Ability to adapt your designs across a variety of platforms and form factors
Experience with interface design tools such as Figma
Developing Others: Ability to mentor others through constructively challenging assumptions and sharing knowledge with other designers to foster collaboration and innovative development solutions
Adaptation: Ability to adapt in order to work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations, and with diverse individuals and groups, and lead others through ambiguous or changing situations.
Communication: Ability to listen to others and convey ideas effectively around design concepts and foster open communication to promote collaboration.
Innovation: Ability to generate novel solutions and creative ideas to support the team in identifying system or program problems, and proposing pragmatic solutions
Relationship Development: Builds and maintains external team relationships. Leverages external relationships to support out of the box design solutions that create net new value. Expands the value of the design team through cross-functional relationships.
Teamwork: Builds and maintains trust with teammates to foster collaborative relationships, and supports team members as needed.

When meeting the requirements, the minimum of what you can expect for this position is $102,100.00. The actual offer will vary depending on the candidate's skills and competencies.
