The Department of Graphic Design and Industrial Design in the College of Design at North Carolina State University seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Graphic Design Program at the rank of Assistant Professor with an emphasis on Experience Design (UXD), Emerging Media, and/or Interaction Design (IxD).
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a deep curiosity in emerging technologies, speculative design methods, and/or novel approaches to traditional methods. Candidates must hold a terminal Master’s degree (MGD/MDes/MFA or PhD) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Experience Design, or other design-related areas, and be eager to teach students at multiple levels, from Foundations to Masters.
