PartsTrader is a B2B marketplace that provides automotive repairers a platform to procure vehicle parts used in collision repair. As our first UX & Research Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and shaping our UX and Research practice. You’ll be responsible for developing our UX strategy and ensuring user-centric design and research best practices are at the heart of our product design decisions. You’ll be managing a team of two and leading key projects. Your team will help shape our products with research about our customers, what motivates them, how they work, and how PartsTrader can deliver value to them in a delightful way.

• 2+ years of experience leading or managing a UX team
• 5+ years UX Design/Research experience which includes task analysis and research methodologies, creating concepts from scratch, detailed design, delivering to development, and support.
• Expert-level experience designing and conducting complex research studies.
• Experience balancing product, development, and user-centered goals to help shape overall product strategy.
