Lamp Illustration Project
The mechanical features were design to combine the function of a desk lamp and a floor lamp together to provide a versatile product for the home office. The elegant form provides light in two different directions focusing light on the desk surface or ceiling. With the activation of the center bar, the translucent panels will glide directing light towards the ceiling which fills the entire room with light.
A mechanical sketch model was successfully built to test the mechanism concept. Afterward the rending sketches were developed. Guasch is the medium was chosen because of the need to render translucent material.
