The intentions and ethical framework that I carry out design work reflects a charge that architecture carries to address social issues due to its determinative nature within a social context. It is through design that we may foster a more cognitively aware citizenry. Cognitive awareness extends into physical, social, historical, et cetera dimensions such that architecture becomes a mutually beneficial social force rather than working solely within the capitalistic construct of contemporaneity.
