Designing panel mounted units (Avionics) and various products for pilots that can be used in both airplanes and helicopters. I also create cockpit images for presentations to clients that show current and future panel layouts.
Key Design Accomplishments:
-Helped design key elements of the D2 pilot watch. The first GPS watch for pilots.
-Designed key elements of the D2 Bravo watch. Garmin's second GPS watch for pilots.
-Created a functional bezel and new look for the TXi touch display panel units.
-Worked with engineers to design the exterior of the GDL 50/52 units.

Designed automotive accessories. Mostly ice scrapers and brake controllers. Responsibilities included, creating the product look, researching the market, maintaining good ergonomics, and basic functionality through to production. Clients included Wal-Mart, Target, Auto-Zone, and SEMA show.
Key Design Accomplishments:
-Invented vertical brake button on Reliance, Agility, and Quest brake controllers.
-Designed Ice Ripper and Ice Crusher scrapers for winter care.
-Created look for Endurance line of sockets and plugs.

Designed RTA (Ready-to-Assemble) furniture for such clients as, Target, Wal-Mart, and Office Max.
I also did CAD Technician work creating Autocad models and shop drawings.
Some of my furniture pieces were selected to be displayed at the annual furniture show in
High Point, North Carolina.
