  I am a Loughborough Design School graduate, with an Industrial Design degree. I am currently working for Hornby Hobbies within the Scalextric Product Development team.
  
  I work with Creo 2.0 (previously Pro/Engineer) and am highly proficient with both solid and surface parametric modelling. I have extensive experience of replicating and consolidating complex, high quality A-Class surfaces using ISDX as this is my primary job role.
  
  In addition to the regular Scalextric new tooling projects, I have also been the lead designer for a number of new product developments involving concept generation and sketching through to tool plans and data transfer to China. One example would be the 2012 range highlight product, QuickBuild Demolition Derby, which won two awards upon release at the 2012 London Toy Fair including the coveted Editor's Choice award. The second product in this award-winning range, for which I am also responsible, is due for release at the end of 2013.
  
  Another NPD which will take the brand into new markets and the digital age is due to be announced shortly. I have been heavily involved with the industrial design and electronic functionality from the start, and am excited to share more when this system is announced to the world.
  
  I also have rendering and visualisation skills, using Maxwell Render to produce photorealistic images in my spare time to add to my portfolio - a skill which I am always trying to improve upon, in the hope of producing genuinely impressive visuals.
  
  My University Dissertation explored the origins and development of Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies and compared Design for Manufacture for Injection Moulding and AM. Therefore I am well-equipped to design for both Injection Moulding and AM, and have continued interest in AM Technologies.
