Dorota Maliszewska

Dear Sir/Madam,



I am a fifth year architecture student from Poland. I am currently participating in The Erasmus Foundation exchange program for students. Having gained a scholarship award to continue my learning practice at the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia in Spain. After this I would like to develop my experience in the field of my future career.



I was selected from a shortlist of 100 students to participate in an exchange program at Detroit University of Mercy in USA where I completed my fourth year architectural studies.



I have had various types of working experience during my student life. I have worked for RKW- the largest architecture company in Germany. After completion of my studies in the USA I found an interesting job in the BRK architectural office in San Francisco. I have also participated in designing architecture for a Polish Government Office Building for a Warsaw Competition. I have had many varied part-time jobs as a Graphic Designer utilizing specialist skills gained in my Computer Graphic Design qualification from Art College.



I would like to work with computers . My computer skills are good, based on experience with various computer programs such as: AutoCAD 2000, 3DStudioMAX, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Micromedia DIRECTOR, Corel PHOTOPAINT. With these programs I have made technical drawings, architecture visualizations, presentations, web pages, CD-envelope and graphics for advertisements.

I also have good skills in freehand drawing and creating art.

Currently I have achieved upper intermediate level in English and Spanish language.

Based on the experiences I have presented I would like to find a creative job in architecture or graphic design fields. Finally, I am very open to various kinds of creative work, examples of which can be seen in my portfolio.
