The Taboo from 'This Side That Side'
My illustrations and design for comic story 'The Taboo' written by Malini Gupta, in an anthology of comics on the partition of India called 'This Side That Side : An anthology on the partition of India' edited by Vishwajyoti Ghosh. The story was a journalistic piece about the struggle a woman faced in a refugee camp in Bangladesh after the partition of India to stand up for herself. I had been handed out the writing and visualized the piece, deviced the style of drawing, inked and designed all pages.
