Safety Bike Light Project

This was a project in second year of University to design and brand a safety bicycle light using predesigned PCB.
Working in bicycle retail for 3 years, I learnt that cyclist living in a built up areas use secondary lights for extra visibility. These secondary lights included helmet, rucksack, wheel spoke lights etc.
Also with my work knowledge of brands that make these lights and the ones that either don't or offer alternatives. I decided to work with Cateye as they don't have these secondary lights but offer their customers helmet clips to work with their existing range. I found that this doesn't offer customers the idea of having an additional lighting for extra safety.
Cateye EL135 Combo has been designed to offer customers both front and rear lights which could be attached both on helmets and rucksack straps using a velcro.
It's shape and features have been designed to fit into the Cateye existing range.
Made from injection moulded Polypropylene and Polycarbonate and RRP £34.99.
