The Sea-Doo Challenger 230 was the last sport boat I worked on while at BRP Inc. It was their largest and most expensive sport jet boat to date. For me it was the most exciting and fullfilling project to work on while there.
The ideation sketches done for the Challenger 230. What I am most proud of how the final product looked very much like the original ideation sketches.
A sampling of some more ideations(renderings) exploring themes that eventually found their way into the final boat.
The clay model phase. Here I was able to utilize my skills to the utmost. Giving direction to the clay modeler, finessing and sweetning the the surfaces. The surfacing on the final boat spoke of sophistication and elegance.
The "wrap around" drivers helm of the Challenger 230. -Theme rendering -Production Helm -The full size clay mockup
The interior skethes were done on Painter IX. Simple and elegant were the bywords during it's design.
