About
I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2008, I moved to the United States to pursue my bachelor's degree at UIUC. After graduation I've worked in the Chicago-land area until the end of 2015 when I decided to move on and start a new chapter of my life. In the Fall of 2016, I moved to the New York city to pursue my Master degree in Strategic Design and Management at The New School. Inspired by Walt Disney, I am especially passionate to design things that create lasting memories and experience that one cherishes for life. I believe that the beauty of design isn’t about being life changing, but its ability to connect things with people and bring happiness to their lives.

• Works closely with the Sales team and clients to create new and evolve existing structural package designs for various
consumer packaged products, including but not limit to food, household, beauty, beverage, and personal care.
• Involves in all aspects of the design process, from research, ideation, concept development and presentation to concept refinement and engineering. Works with both internal and external Marketing and Engineering groups, including NSM Research Inc., Mintel and global manufacturers, regularly to assure the best outcome of each design project.
Pro-active initiatives
• Initiated and leads the development of a new Design and Marketing tool to increase sales. The presentation summarizes the lifestyle trends, consumer behavior and package trends, category insights and design concepts by product type.
• Initiated and led the first TricorBraun sponsor design project with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Heavily
involved with the project scope and lecture planning. -
Industrial Design InternRosemont, ILAug 2012 - Dec 2012 (4 months)• Individual designer on Baker’s Secret blue sky projects. Responsible for conducting market research, ideation, concept
development, and concept validation.
• Assisted the design team members with projects for multiple brands, including Corning ware, Pyrex, and Chicago cutlery.
