The Puck Light was an open design project. How do we create an “Up the Mountain” product that keeps the Coleman brand and design language. After a lengthy exploration I began looking at it as a collapsible product. Instead of designing another puck light, this product has the option of lighting on the bottom for mood, or being opened to create a larger light cast. This is the first of the Coleman lanterns to use lithium ion batteries, as well as a new lanyard design.
