This project was so much fun! I was given very little resources and managed to make this one seem special. For the character art, I shot sequin in some fun fur and blended it into the artwork. I blinged up Poppy's look with glittery makeup and used simple and clean photos to contrast all of the colorful background without taking too much away from the branding. I also added in some fun graphics inside so you wouldn't see just the cardboard substrate.
I loved the challenge of showing the function of the toy through icons and arrows. This was also a fun product shoot!
Worked closely with the brand manager, structure engineer and product designer to achieve this cute pack out while staying on brand. I also wanted to highlight the try me button with a fun pointing symbol where the tree lights up.

Showcasing the fun and play with this product. I really wanted to convey the action of making snow and the color changing of the dolls' dress.
This packaging was a fun challenge. I didn't want the sewing machine to look like it was floating in a room, so I improvised and had photos taken of an existing product of a vanity that we had and used that as a pop up for the sewing machine. It cam out perfect with this storytelling packaging. It also filled out the pack out well and looked like a great value.
I worked closely with the packaging engineer to get the try me. I wanted to convey that the carriage turns into a pumpkin when you turn it. All while staying on brand.

It had to mimic the Inside cover of the DVD movie, 30 Days of Night. I used 3 different photos. One with the children, one with the product and the other of the door. I also had to make the eyes of the lanterns look like they were glowing.
