Organized and archived ABCRC news articles and records dating back to 1968. Authored a summary of the history of the organization and produced a pamphlet with this information for public relations, marketing and outreach purposes. Managed social media efforts, including the ABCRC website and online calendars; created a client information database. Supported planning and implementation of the following programs: Diversity and Inclusion Training; Fair Housing Outreach and Education; Resource, Referral, Education for Claims of Discrimination; and Police Community Relations. Conducted research on issues relating to diversity and inclusion. Participated in grant writing and the maintenance of the donor database. Supported the Executive Director in her participation in Board of Directors projects and meetings through administrative activities. Supported Interim Director during organizational restructure and hiring process. Engaged in community outreach by attending community meetings, events, and trainings programs; networked and collaborated with local LGBTQA leaders and organizations. Helped to plan, organize, and host ABCRC outreach and fundraising events. Collaborated with the Center for Diversity Education at UNC-Asheville and the Jewish Community Center through the Mandel-Rodis Tzedek Intern Cohort. Contributed to the development of a youth leadership conference, Me2We, in collaboration with the Center for Diversity Education at UNC-Asheville.

Participating in revising the online artist application and sponsorship packet. Contributed in fundraising efforts by distributing informational packets and conducting follow up. Assisted in recruiting artists. Worked as a volunteer in box office and ticket sales.

Designed promotional and advertising materials and graphics. Conducted market research and entered information into database.t

Maintained printing presses, cleaned studio, sorted type. Collaborated with resident artists and owners on projects for gallery exhibits and fundraisers.

Canvassed for petition signatures for campaign to pressure KFC and Yum! Brands to adopt a sustainable packaging policy that would put a stop to sourcing fiber from wood harvested from converted pine plantations, in locations with high conservation values, and in a manner that violated human rights or international laws. Fundraised and signed people up for membership in Dogwood Alliance.

Canvassed in greater New York area to raise funds and gather petition signatures to prohibit hydraulic fracking in New York State.
